Choose Where to Stay: Denmark City Guides
The short answer
Choose a Copenhagen base that fits the daily street plan and the beds you need.

Compare four Copenhagen bases
Open the Copenhagen hotel-area guide to choose through the guest street. Borgergade gives the Indre By option. Helgolandsgade gives the Vesterbro and Central rail-side stay. Nørrebrogade gives the Nora base near the Lakes. Strandgade gives the Christianshavn choice.
Think about where each evening ends as well as where the first outing begins. A canal-side visit can fit a day from another base. Several days spent around Christianshavn can give a different reason to stay there.
Match the layout and arrival
Read the full room type. Wakeup Family connects two rooms, while Large adds a child's fold-out mattress to a double. Absalon separates its base double from Original Twin and its sofa-bed family layouts.
At NH, an Atrium room is a different outlook from a named City or Waterfront view. Nora lists useful room facilities, but its exact bed setup needs confirming for the party. One hotel name does not answer every sleeping or window question.
Choose a base you can use on foot and by public transport. Hiring a bike is optional. If you do want to ride, read the municipal guidance and check the actual rental and storage terms.
Compare the airport M2 and the direct Central train through the actual hotel street. Then save the station exit and last part to the guest door. A city-centre stop is not the end of every hotel arrival.
