The short answer

Compare Dubrovnik's historic centre, bay, hotel-led setting and main transport area by the days you want.

Choose your Dubrovnik setting

The Dubrovnik area guide compares Old Town, Lapad Bay, Babin Kuk and Gruž. Start with the part of the stay that matters most. Historic-centre days give one starting point. Time near the bay, hotel pools or an onward ferry can lead to another.

Each choice has a named hotel and a full street address. Use those addresses to compare your own plans. A broad Dubrovnik label cannot settle the journeys you will make each day.

Check the room and pool details

The guide separates skylight rooms from square views. It also explains why a balcony category does not by itself promise a sea view. Save the exact room name before you pay.

For pool time, check the facility and its operating dates. A seasonal outdoor pool and a separate indoor pool offer different stays. Slides at a nearby property need their own access check.

Plan the final hotel arrival

Old Town needs a pedestrian arrival plan. Gruž and Old Town harbour are different places. Read the actual stop or terminal on the service you will use, then check the last leg to the hotel door.

For another destination, use the city and country finder. To flag a changed hotel or route detail, send the page and source.
