Choose Where to Stay: Portugal City Guides

The short answer

Choose the city, then the actual room and daily return.

Choose the city for your own visit

Open the Lisbon area guide to compare Martim Moniz, Carmo-side Chiado, Alfama and Avenida da Liberdade. Choose through the actual hotel door and room plan. A child-only extra bed is a different offer from a Triple. A four-adult connecting pair is different from an open-plan Family room.

Keep the ages beside the facilities you want to use. Memmo Alfama has a 16-plus guest rule. Lisboa Pessoa has a separate 14-plus spa rule. Get the full route to a named room before a terrace or river view wins the choice.

Use the Porto base guide for Ribeira, São Domingos, Boavista and the Gaia bank. The real beds can decide between them. A bunk Family room has a child-age limit, while a larger suite needs its own sleeping plan. Keep a fitted kitchen distinct from a microwave on request.

At The Rebello, check the actual bedroom levels and the pool's seven-plus rule. At a riverfront hotel, plan the return to upper-city sights too. The room view does not show the full station or bridge approach.

Keep the room and arrival together

Give the hotel every guest's age and get the real beds accepted. Keep meals with the selected rate. Then choose the airport or station printed on the ticket and the final guest-door route. A central address does not put every train at reception.

The historical Belém Tower image is a country scene, rather than an outlook from the shortlisted rooms. For another destination, use the city and country finder. To correct a room or route fact, send the current source.
