The three choices are actual hotel streets. A station-side room makes a different trade-off from a Kazimierz room or a stay across the river. Keep the sleeping plan and any pool or view requirement alongside the location, so one attractive feature does not hide another part of the stay.
Pawia prioritises the rail arrival. Halicka prioritises the Kazimierz base. Nadwislanska gives the river-side Podgorze option. Choose the repeated daily trip, then the full room type and facility terms.

Choose where to stay in Krakow by the part of each day you want to make easiest. Pawia gives a base beside the main rail arrival and the Old Town edge. Halicka gives a Kazimierz stay through PURO. Nadwislanska gives the Qubus option in Podgorze by the river. Compare those guest streets, then the room format and the airport route, before letting a broad Old Town or river-view label decide the stay.
Start with Pawia near Krakow Glowny if rail arrivals shape a short visit. Choose Halicka in Kazimierz when that part of the city fits the days and evenings you plan. Compare Nadwislanska in Podgorze for the Qubus river-side base, with its room view and pool terms checked. A hotel name does not settle the beds or outlook, or the final route from the station to reception.
Pawia is the starting comparison when the rail day drives the hotel choice. Vienna House by Wyndham Andel's Cracow places itself beside Cracow Main Station and near Old Town. Its guest address is Pawia 3. That gives a concrete end point to compare with a train arrival, rather than treating every hotel sold under Old Town as equally useful with bags.
This is an Old Town-edge and station-side choice. It is not a promise of waking on Main Square. If the square setting is the main reason for the visit, compare the actual street location before booking for rail ease alone. For a late train in and an early train out, the station side may carry more weight. The right trade-off follows the stay you have planned.
Wyndham's current room overview separates Superior Twin from Deluxe Double. The Twin names two twin beds. The Double names a Queen or King bed. Keep that difference visible if two friends need separate sleeping places. A room for two people can fit either a shared-bed trip or a twin-bed trip, but the same guest count does not make the two layouts interchangeable.
A Junior Suite gives another layout, with a King bed and a living room with sleeper sofa in the owner description. Ask how the sofa is made up for the actual guests and whether the offer includes its use. A sofa in a room photograph is not enough. The named sleeper sofa gives a reason to ask about the setup without inventing an extra-guest promise.
Some of the hotel's rooms have balconies or terraces, according to the overview. The word some limits that statement. If outdoor space is the feature you want, get the full room name that includes it. A hotel gallery can combine several room types. It should not add a terrace to the first Twin or Double that a date search returns.
The owner describes soundproof rooms. That is a stated property feature, not our measured sound test. Ask about the actual outlook and any event on the dates you need if sleep is the main concern. A city or courtyard label helps describe where the room faces, but does not give a numerical noise level or a guarantee about every night.
For the first walk from the station, save Pawia 3 and identify the useful exit before leaving the platform. A main rail station may have several ways out. We do not turn the hotel's nearby-station description into a fixed walking time. Bags, the chosen exit and any step-free route can affect which approach you want to take.
Choose this base if you will use the rail setting enough to justify it. That may be an airport train, another Polish city by rail or a short visit with limited time between arrivals. If you expect to spend almost every evening in Kazimierz, compare that return trip too. The station location is a reason to shortlist the hotel, rather than the whole decision.
Halicka gives the Kazimierz option through PURO Krakow Kazimierz. The owner contact page fixes it at Halicka 14A. Keep Kazimierz in the property name when saving the booking. PURO also has an Old Town hotel in Krakow. A search result that shortens both to PURO Krakow can hide the most basic difference: you may be comparing two guest addresses.
Choose this Halicka base when Kazimierz is where you expect to begin or end the day. Mark the places you have already chosen, then compare their routes from the hotel. It is easy to give a district a broad nightlife or food label, but your own dinner and event addresses make a better test. A room should fit those repeated trips as well as the first arrival.
The current owner list starts with a Classic Room with a Queen bed. Classic Plus also gives a Queen bed and adds its own room features. Read those full formats if you expect a shared main bed. The change from Classic to Classic Plus does not, by itself, turn the room into a twin-bed choice or a separate bedroom apartment.
The Deluxe Room instead lists a King bed. That may suit someone who values the larger main bed or the different room space described by the owner. Decide whether those features matter to the guests who will use it. We do not convert a larger bed into permission for extra guests, and a King category still needs its own allowed occupancy checked.
PURO's Suite gives a lounge, while the Executive Suite description names a separate living area and dining table. Those are different ways to use the room between outings. If someone needs to sleep while another guest sits up, ask about the actual door and sleeping arrangement. Living space does not mean another bedroom, or prove that a sofa is sold as a bed.
For a longer stay, think about which room feature you will use each day. A shared Queen room may work well for a couple who spend most of their time outside. More living space may matter to someone who expects slow mornings in the hotel. Neither is a universal upgrade. Pay for the part of the room that changes the stay you want.
The hotel names Halicka Eatery and a spa among its facilities. Those can make staying in the hotel more appealing between city plans. Read their actual terms and the room offer if breakfast or treatment affects the choice. A restaurant or spa in the building does not mean every meal or treatment is bundled into each rate you see.
For the arrival, use the Halicka address rather than the Old Town PURO listing. Plan from the airport or rail station to the exact door. A shorter property name in a message can send a driver to a different hotel. Keep the full Kazimierz identity in the transfer confirmation and in the saved route so the room comparison remains tied to the place you intended.
Qubus Hotel Krakow fixes the river-side option at Nadwislanska 6. This is the Podgorze choice in our comparison. PURO's area description also distinguishes Kazimierz from Podgorze across the river. Keep the bank and the actual guest street in the plan. A hotel can describe itself as near Kazimierz without having the same address or the same daily approach as the Halicka option.
Choose the Nadwislanska base when that river-side setting and the hotel's features both fit. Check the actual route to the places you will use on the other bank. The river on a map helps explain relative position, but it does not give you a crossing or a walking time. Use a current route for the bridge and guest entrance you need.
The Qubus owner list separates Double Room from Double Room River View. It also names a Premium Double River View. Keep the complete label if the bedroom outlook is the reason to choose the stay. The hotel's river-side address alone does not add that view to every available room. A plain Double and a river-view product are different choices.
The owner describes views from the top-floor relaxation area as well. That is a separate feature from the view in the bedroom. A pool with a broad city outlook can be worth using even if the room faces another way. Decide whether you want the view during a swim or from the bed, then choose the exact feature you expect the offer to include.
For beds, Qubus lists Twin separately from Double. It lists an Apartment with space for four guests, but the broad guest label does not give a complete bed plan. Ask where each person sleeps and whether living space will be used at night. A four-person stay should be compared through the actual sleeping arrangement, not just a room name that sounds larger.
The relaxation centre is described as for hotel guests, with children allowed under adult supervision. That is useful evidence for a family considering the pool. It still leaves the family to check suitability and the current rules for their stay. A hotel pool is one facility within the trip, rather than a promise of unlimited swimming at every hour.
There is a maintenance limit to check. The owner gives a Monday closure for the pool and sauna. Its English time wording is inconsistent, so we do not turn it into a precise opening timetable. Confirm the hours for the Monday you need. A short stay with only one planned swim can be affected more than a longer visit with several free days.
Choose Qubus if the actual Nadwislanska base works with the room and facilities you want. Compare the station arrival and evenings elsewhere before booking only for a pool photograph. If a river-view bedroom or a swim is a firm requirement, get that exact product and access confirmed. The hotel setting can then remain a clear reason for the choice, with its limits understood.
The diagram uses licensed OpenStreetMap hotel locations, with north up. It compares the Pawia base with Halicka and Nadwislanska farther south. Plan the actual station exit, river crossing and guest entrance separately; the location markers do not show walking routes.
The points are not exact reception doors or district boundaries. No river crossing, walking route or journey time is inferred from the straight-line positions. Use the actual guest address and a current route for the final approach.

Hotel names and numbered guest streets were compared with owner information and public Trip.com property records in October 2026. We compare the room and location choices without using live rates or guest scores. Each card gives a reason to shortlist the stay and a limit that matters to the choice. The room type still needs to match the party and dates you will actually book.
Vienna House by Wyndham Andel's Cracow
Best for: Rail arrivals with the exact Twin, Double or suite setup chosen.
Location: Pawia 3, Krakow
Official evidence: Owner places the hotel by Main Station and lists two-bed Twin versus Queen/King Double formats.
Trade-off: Some rooms have balconies or terraces; that is not a promise for every room.
Before booking: Confirm the sleeping setup, outdoor space if needed and useful station exit.
Krakow arrivals: airport rail, station exits and the guest street
For Krakow Airport, start with the official airport rail page. It identifies SKA1 on the route linking the airport with Krakow Main Station and onward to Wieliczka. That gives the rail option a clear route reference. Use the current timetable for the actual day, rather than treating an airport-train label as a promise that any flight time will have a matching service.
The airport says its rail station sits behind the multi-storey car park and is linked to the terminal by a covered footbridge. Follow the current airport signs to that connection. If you need assistance, read the airport's reduced-mobility guidance before the trip. The existence of the link does not settle the separate route into the hotel once the city train journey ends.
For Pawia, Krakow Glowny is the useful main-station reference. Save the hotel's number 3 address and work out the chosen exit-to-door approach. Do not use a photograph of the station frontage as if it proves the platform route. The exit you use matters with bags, and a nearby property can still need the right way through the station.
For Halicka, plan the final leg to PURO Kazimierz. Keep the full hotel identity on any driver message, together with Halicka 14A. The separate PURO Old Town hotel should not be allowed to replace it in an autocomplete result or transfer note. A room comparison that starts with the correct hotel can still go wrong if the shorter city name becomes the arrival destination.
For Nadwislanska, use Qubus Hotel Krakow and number 6. Plan the actual approach for the bank of the river where the hotel sits. We do not assume a particular tram stop or river crossing from a point map. Choose the route for the time you land and the way the party wants to finish the trip, rather than copying an unqualified walking estimate.
A return flight needs its own rail check. Enter the day and airport arrival you need, then compare the station leg from the hotel. The first service or an amended timetable can matter more than the broad distance to the airport. A station-side room helps only if the travel plan itself works for the actual departure.
For another rail trip, save the station name and ticket details before comparing the hotel. Krakow Glowny should not become a generic label for every rail stop in the city. Read where the booked train actually leaves and how the party will get there. A familiar city name does not remove the need to check the right station or departure date.
If you book a road transfer, get the guest-door destination and airport meeting point in writing. Give the full hotel name and street address, with the flight and luggage needs. Ask which entrance the driver will use if that affects access. We do not assume a hotel transfer is free or included simply because the property can arrange one.
Krakow bases for first visits and room-sharing plans
For a first visit, choose the daily base before the room upgrade. The best area to stay in Krakow may be the Pawia station side when travel days take priority, or Kazimierz when the evenings there fill the plan. The Nadwislanska option gives a separate river-side choice. Each has a reason to be shortlisted without becoming a claim that one district suits all first-time visitors.
For friends, put the exact main beds first. Andel's Superior Twin names two twin beds. PURO Kazimierz's Classic instead names a Queen, while its Deluxe names a King. Qubus lists Twin separately from Double.
Those are useful differences before any comparison of decor or hotel name. Check that the offered room retains the bed format you chose.
For a family, separate guest capacity from sleeping places. An apartment for four guests does not prove four separate beds. A suite with living space does not necessarily give another bedroom. The Junior Suite sleeper sofa at Andel's is a named feature to ask about, but its use still needs to fit the actual room offer. Get the complete setup for the people travelling.
For sleep, be precise about what you want to avoid. Ask about the bedroom side and hotel events, especially if a quiet evening matters more than a view. The Old Town-edge, Kazimierz and river-side labels each describe an area, not the sound in a specific room. A soundproofing statement is owner evidence, but we have not measured the room or stayed in it.
For a room used between outings, compare the lounge as well as the bed. PURO separates its suite layouts, while Andel's names a Junior Suite living room. Ask how that space works if someone needs to sleep while another sits up. A larger floor area on its own is less useful than knowing whether the room has a door or a sofa that must be cleared at night.
For pool plans, choose the hotel and dates together. Qubus states that its relaxation centre is for guests, with children supervised by adults. The Monday maintenance note is a reason to check the exact hours. If the only free swimming time in a short stay is Monday, settle that point before treating the facility as the reason to choose the room.
For a lower overall cost, keep the room requirements steady when you compare offers. Use the same guests and dates, then read the breakfast and cancellation terms. Add the airport route you will take. A lower room rate can buy a different bed format or leave out something you need, so we do not assign these areas fixed budget labels from a short hotel list.
For access needs, ask about the full guest approach and room route. A covered airport link does not answer the hotel entrance question. A lift does not settle the bathroom or every step on the way to it. Get the facts for the room sold, including the route from the street. That is more useful than accepting a city-wide walkable or easy-access description.
For excursions, keep the pickup point distinct from the hotel base. If you have a booked tour, use the meeting address on its actual confirmation. A central hotel name should not be read as proof of included hotel collection. Plan the return to the same guest street too, so an early departure or late finish remains part of the area decision rather than an afterthought.

Choose the repeated station, Kazimierz or river-side trip first.
Retain the full PURO Kazimierz identity and Halicka address.
Match Twin, Queen or King formats to the actual guests.
Confirm sleeper-sofa use or the full apartment sleeping plan.
Keep a river-view room distinct from a pool-floor view.
Check Qubus Monday maintenance hours if swimming affects the stay.
Save the airport service for your flight, with the station exit and final hotel approach.
Open the hotel you chose on Trip.com and check the exact room before you pay.
This is desk research from the sources linked below, with hotel location and feature checks in October 2026. We have not stayed at or tested these hotels. The area choices express our judgment about trip fit. No price, availability, safety grade or service rating is implied.
Wyndham: Andel's Cracow location and room overview: Vienna House gives its Pawia address and distinguishes bed and sofa layouts, with outdoor space available only in some rooms rather than throughout the hotel.
PURO Hotels: Cracow Kazimierz: PURO identifies its Kazimierz property separately from the Old Town hotel, so use the exact property name when comparing rooms and arrival routes.
PURO Kazimierz: Queen, King and suite room types: PURO separates queen and king rooms from suites with living space, but a larger category does not by itself establish permission for more guests.
Krakow Airport: rail route and terminal link: Krakow Airport explains its rail station and covered terminal connection, so check the current train and final hotel leg rather than assume a fixed journey time.
OpenStreetMap: PURO Krakow Kazimierz location: The map shows PURO Krakow Kazimierz in Krakow so you can compare locations; ask the property which entrance to use with your luggage.
OpenStreetMap: Qubus Hotel Krakow location: The map shows Qubus Hotel Krakow in Krakow so you can compare locations; ask the property which entrance to use with your luggage.
A dated check records what the source said at that point. It does not guarantee that the stay or route is unchanged. If you spot an error, send the page and the correction. We can then recheck the affected hotel or area, or arrival note.
Compare Pawia for the main rail arrival, Halicka for the Kazimierz base or Nadwislanska for the river-side Qubus option in Podgorze. Choose through your repeated daily plans, then the actual room and guest street. One broad Old Town label does not make every hotel the same arrival or evening base.
Are PURO Old Town and PURO Kazimierz the same hotel?
No. Keep the Kazimierz property at Halicka 14A with the room you compare here. The owner also has a separate Old Town property. Retain the full name in the booking and transfer instructions, rather than letting a shortened PURO Krakow label choose a different guest address.
Does any Qubus room guarantee a river view?
No. The owner lists river-view products separately from plain Double or Twin formats. Read the full room name if the bedroom outlook matters. Views from the top-floor relaxation area are another feature, and should not be turned into a view promise for every bedroom in the hotel.
Can children use the Qubus pool?
The owner says children can use the relaxation centre under adult supervision. Confirm the actual rules and hours for the stay, including Monday maintenance. A general pool listing does not promise every-hour access, and a family should check whether the facility fits the way they plan to use it.
Which hotel room gives separate beds for two friends?
Andel's Superior Twin explicitly lists two twin beds, and Qubus has a separate Twin format. PURO Kazimierz's listed Classic and Deluxe use Queen and King main beds. Choose the full category for the sleeping plan you need, then confirm it is the format on the actual offer.
Does the airport train complete the hotel arrival?
The airport page gives SKA1 via Krakow Main Station, with a covered link at the airport station. The hotel still needs its own final street approach. Plan the actual station exit and onward leg to Pawia, Halicka or Nadwislanska, rather than treating the city train stop as every hotel door.
Verdict: where to stay in Krakow
Choose where to stay in Krakow through the part of the trip you want nearby. Pawia puts the rail arrival first, Halicka gives the Kazimierz stay and Nadwislanska gives the river-side Podgorze option. Keep the full hotel identity and the exact sleeping plan. Then confirm any view or pool feature, with the airport and guest-door route ready for both travel days.
