The short answer

Choose River Street Inn for River Street, Perry Lane for East Perry Street or Brice for East Bay and Emmet Park. Confirm beds for everyone, separate bedrooms and the bathroom features you need. Plan the journey from Savannah airport and late returns before comparing the full rate.

Savannah areas at a glance

Compare three historic-city bases through the actual room and daily return. A dining table does not establish overnight capacity, and a river view differs from the entrance you will use.

River Street Inn offers Two Queens separately from French Balcony king or queen categories. Ask about every bed and door in the Two-Room King. Perry Lane’s suites have sofas and dining space, with sleeping use and guest limits to confirm. Choose the exact adapted bathroom. Brice names separate living space and a sleeper, but only some suites have soaking baths. Juliette’s six-person limit still needs a complete bed plan.

Choose where to stay in Savannah through repeated visitor doors and an exact room for your party. River Street Inn anchors the riverfront, Perry Lane East Perry Street and Brice East Bay Street by Emmet Park. Keep main beds with needed private space. Dining for eight is not an overnight cap, and a river view does not settle the real entrance approach.

Choose River Street Inn for the riverfront, Perry Lane for East Perry Street or Brice for East Bay and Emmet Park. Confirm each room’s main beds and any sleeper: a suite’s dining capacity does not establish overnight guests. River Street’s two-room king needs its full bed and door plan, while Brice Juliette’s listed six guests need exact sleeping places. Use CAT’s current Route 3 information for SAV, then finish the hotel journey.

Where to stay in Savannah: area choices

River Street: River Street Inn

River Street Inn is the riverfront-led candidate in this comparison. Keep its real East Bay Street address with the entrance you will use. A room overlooking River Street does not identify every guest approach or street level. Ask about the actual arrival door before treating a river view as a complete route plan.

The dedicated River View Two Queens page names two queens. That is specific main-bed evidence for a party that agrees to share those beds. Keep the full room name in the quote. A generic river-view heading may cover a king or queen instead, so the view alone should not decide the sleep plan.

The room list separates French Balcony versions from other river-view products. King, queen and two queens each appear as distinct choices. If a balcony matters, retain the exact version rather than applying it to every room overlooking the water. A view is one feature; outdoor space and main beds are separate details to settle.

For adults who do not share, two queens are a different plan from one king. Do not count a seating area or a photograph of a sofa as another bed. Ask about any real prepared sleeper only if the actual product supplies one. Each traveller should know the sleeping surface before the room total becomes the deciding factor.

The two-room river-view suite names a king. That does not prove two main bedrooms or an extra sleeper. Ask for the actual layout and all sleeping places with the full party. Two useful rooms can add space while still providing only one main bed, so the suite title should not carry the whole decision.

For a couple sharing one main bed, a named king or queen can already meet the sleep need. Extra space can still matter if one guest keeps a different routine. If a private bedroom is essential, ask about the real closing door in the offered suite. A larger title should earn its place through practical use rather than size alone.

For a family, think through bedtime and morning routines. Two queens in one room can work when the party accepts sharing the same space. A suite may help only if its actual doors and sleeping surfaces fit the family. Keep all guests and any needed ages with the exact product rather than a general family-friendly description.

The River View Two Queens page names a mini-fridge. That is useful storage, not a full kitchen claim. If meals depend on cooking equipment, ask about the real room and needed tools. A suite or dining area elsewhere on a hotel page should not add a stove to this product.

Bath needs also belong to the precise room. A general accessible king listing does not settle the bath in a two-queen product. Ask for the required tub or roll-in feature and the route from the entrance. Keep actual main beds and access together so a room change does not solve one need while removing another.

The entrance approach deserves its own check for bags or mobility needs. A map dot and river view do not mark a surveyed guest door. Ask which street and level to use, then complete the useful route to that point. Do not infer a step-free approach from the distance between two points on a relative map.

The current SAV arrival plan should end at that real entrance. Use the actual selected-mode pickup or current CAT service and useful city stop. Then add the final hotel leg with bags. A bus reaching the city is not a direct airport shuttle to the room, and a historic airport-express note is not current service proof.

For a waterfront visit, use the real visitor gate or departure point. A river-view room does not reserve a boat trip or include admission. Keep the current operator terms and useful return with the actual date. An optional outing should not hide a less useful repeated journey elsewhere in the city.

If a member of the party has a separate plan, test that route too. One person may visit the waterfront while another attends an appointment. A shared hotel should give both a usable journey and return. Choose through the real party rather than only the traveller whose plans first prompted the booking.

Do not rank the entire riverfront as quiet or noisy. Ask about the offered room position and known events or work for the actual dates. Treat a quiet-room preference as a request unless clearly agreed. The right main beds and usable base should still work without an unconfirmed room assignment.

If arriving early, ask about luggage and actual room-access terms. A useful airport connection does not grant early check-in. A late flight needs a clear arrival plan with the property. Keep that reply with the room booking so an unexpected timing change does not leave the final step unresolved.

Compare each candidate using the same bed and privacy needs. A confirmed two-queen room differs from a king with a sofa whose sleeping use still needs an answer. If separate bedrooms matter, ask for the closing doors and bathroom route in each offered category before comparing the total.

River Street Inn stays on the shortlist when the real entrance and riverfront-led journeys fit the stay. Keep the exact main beds and French Balcony version with all agreed guests. Hold the two-room king suite's extra sleeping and door questions open until answered. Then compare the whole booking and useful late returns with East Perry Street and the Brice base.

East Perry Street: Perry Lane

Perry Lane is the East Perry Street candidate for a Historic District-led visit. Use the actual 256 East Perry Street address with the doors you will repeat. Historic District is a broad label, not one entrance shared by every attraction or meeting. Keep the real daily times and return beside the room before choosing a base.

The current owner offers Superior and Deluxe with king or double queen beds. Retain the exact bed choice in the quote rather than a room heading alone. A king is a different sleeping plan from two queens. Extra floor space or a view should not blur which main beds the party will actually use.

Grand Superior King adds a spacious sitting area and sofa. That sofa is not treated here as a proved sleeper. If another sleeping place is needed, obtain a clear product-specific reply. A comfortable lounge can be useful without being an accepted bed for an extra guest.

The ordinary Suite also names a sofa and living space with dining for four. Those details describe room use, but do not establish sleeper preparation or overnight cap. Ask about the actual main bed and any extra sleeping surface for the offered product. A dining place does not answer where another guest will sleep.

Celebration Suite has larger living and dining spaces, a bar and two bathrooms. Its dining for eight should remain a dining fact. It does not prove eight overnight guests or eight sleeping places. Obtain the exact full guest agreement and bed setup before treating that suite as a larger-party solution.

The named bar does not establish full cooking equipment either. A drinks setup and dining room do different work from a kitchen for meals. If cooking is essential, ask about the real tools in the actual product. Do not build a meal plan from the residential feel of a suite description.

For a couple sharing one main bed, a suitable king may already solve the room need. A separate living space can still matter if guests work or rest at different times. Ask whether the actual bedroom door provides the required separation. Extra space should support a real routine rather than simply make the title more attractive.

For adults who do not share, start with the actual main beds. If a king suite uses a sofa for another guest, confirm that it is a sleeper and that the person will use it comfortably. Keep the accepted party and prepared bed arrangement with the actual offered category.

For a family, test the room after any sleeper is prepared. A living room used for sleep may no longer be a shared evening space. The actual door and bathroom route can matter more than total floor area. Obtain the real layout before comparing a suite with a two-queen room that keeps everyone in one open space.

Accessible Superior names an adapted tub. The Accessible Suite description lists roll-in or transfer-shower features, which need the precise offered variant. Do not treat all adapted rooms as the same bathroom. Keep the needed bath with the actual main beds and any private-space requirement.

That combined request matters if both two main beds and a roll-in shower are essential. A reply about one feature is not proof of the other. Ask for one exact product that meets both needs. A later room change should trigger a fresh check of the features that made the original product suitable.

Use the named room details and the hotel’s written reply for any essential sleeper or closed bedroom. A general photograph can help you ask about the layout, but it may show another category. Keep the exact accepted room and all guests in the booking note.

The SAV journey should end at the East Perry Street entrance. Current CAT information and the selected-mode airport pickup need a real final hotel leg. Check useful service for the actual flight date and time after bags. A general Downtown arrival is not the end of the plan for this property.

For a museum or historic-house visit, use the actual visitor entrance and current visit terms. This guide does not add admission from a room booking. Check the useful trip and return for the date. If that outing is optional, weigh it against the places you will repeat rather than allowing it to decide an otherwise unsuitable base.

For an event evening, retain the actual door and finishing time. A route that works at the start may not suit the late return. Keep a suitable current service or provider if the party cannot use the intended option afterward. The room should still work when everyone returns and all agreed sleeping surfaces are in use.

Ask about the actual room position and known events if sound matters. A park or city view does not settle a quiet stay. Keep a preferred floor or room as a request unless the real terms clearly settle it. Choose through the fixed bed and bath needs first so an optional request does not carry the whole comparison.

Choose Perry Lane when East Perry Street and the named room layout suit your group. Confirm whether a sofa can be prepared for sleep and ask for the overnight guest limit separately from dining seats. Secure the adapted bathroom category you need before accepting another suite. Plan the airport journey and daily returns before comparing the full room price with other bases.

East Bay/Emmet Park: Brice

Brice is the East Bay Street candidate beside the Emmet Park reference point. Keep its actual 601 East Bay Street address rather than treating every hotel near River Street as the same point. Use the real daily visitor doors and useful returns. A park view and a waterfront outing can be desirable without settling those actual journeys.

The suite overview names a separate living room and sleeper sofa. That gives more specific sleeper evidence than a lounge sofa alone. It still does not assign one main-bed or sleeper size to every exact suite here. Ask for the real offered product and full party arrangement before using the overview as a complete sleep plan.

Juliette has its own listed cap up to six with private terrace. That is a capacity statement, not proof of six main sleeping places. Obtain the actual main beds and sleeper size with every guest. A larger cap should not cause the party to discover a different sharing plan after arrival.

The terrace is outdoor space rather than another bedroom. It can add useful room for some routines without solving a private sleeping-room need. Ask about the actual interior division and closing doors. Keep the real layout with the full guest agreement rather than deriving bedrooms from total space or a suite title.

For a couple sharing one main bed, an exact suite can be compared through the living space actually used. The higher cap may not matter. If one guest sleeps early, a useful separate room and closing door can still be valuable. Obtain the real product that supplies that benefit rather than choosing from the largest listed number.

For friends who do not share, begin with the main beds and who will use the sleeper. A suite's full cap does not guarantee that every guest has an equivalent surface. Ask about actual dimensions and preparation for the person using it. If each traveller needs a main bed, compare a room or room pair that clearly supplies that arrangement.

For a family, think through bedtime and the bathroom route. A separate living room can become another sleeping room when the sleeper is prepared. That may remove shared space for anyone who stays awake. Confirm the actual doors and practical layout before treating extra suite space as an automatic solution.

Soaking tubs appear only in selected suites according to the owner. Keep the desired bath with the exact product rather than all suites. If a roll-in shower is needed, ask about the real adapted layout instead of substituting an ordinary large bath. A room should meet sleep and access needs together.

Brice lists communication aids and a contact route for access questions. Ask the hotel’s local team for the exact room, main beds and bathroom your party needs. General communication features do not establish every mobility layout, so confirm the complete offered category before booking.

If two main beds and an adapted bath are both essential, state them in one request. A clear cap alone does not settle either. Ask whether needed bedroom privacy remains in that exact room too. Do not accept a later substitution until the complete set of fixed features is preserved.

The current suite description does not prove a full kitchen. A large room or terrace should not supply appliances by inference. Ask about any equipment the meal plan depends on. Keep cold storage or a bar distinct from a stove-based cooking need rather than relying on the hotel's general style.

The SAV arrival must end at the real East Bay entrance. Use current CAT information and the actual useful city stop, or an agreed provider from the correct airport pickup. Add the final hotel leg with bags. A generic historic-city arrival does not prove a direct ride to this property.

For a waterfront visit, use the actual operator gate and date. A room overlooking Emmet Park does not include a ferry or beach visit. Check the useful outward route and return as separate parts of that outing. Do not assume every local service has the same terms because the hotel is near the riverfront.

For a fixed appointment elsewhere, test the least flexible trip before choosing from the suite. An early arrival or late return may matter more than a single optional outing. Compare the journey from each hotel to the particular appointment or event entrance. If another member of the party has a separate plan, test that route too.

A quiet-room request is distinct from choosing the East Bay base. Ask about the actual room position and known work or events for the dates. The park view is not a sound guarantee. Retain the real room and fixed features so the stay does not depend on an unconfirmed preferred assignment.

Brice stays on the shortlist when the exact suite and East Bay/Emmet Park journeys support the party. Obtain Juliette's real main beds and sleeper plan rather than relying on six alone. Keep selected tub features and needed adapted bath tied to the actual product. Then compare full room and travel terms with River Street Inn and Perry Lane.

Use current SAV transport and complete the hotel approach

Use the current SAV ground-transport and CAT information rather than an old airport-express announcement. The CAT visitor page now names Route 3 West Chatham for airport travel. Use that current route as the starting point for your airport journey. Check the actual dated timetable and useful direction before planning a flight around the service.

An old 100X name does not establish the service you will use now. A route may have changed since a saved guide or announcement was written. The current operator page and dated schedule should decide the actual journey. Keep the real stop and any onward leg with the flight date rather than adopting an old fixed fare or frequency.

The airport bus is not assumed to stop at all three hotel doors. Choose the useful current city stop and complete the final approach. River Street Inn needs its actual East Bay entrance and level. Perry Lane needs East Perry Street, while Brice needs its own East Bay point by Emmet Park.

Allow for your own bags and arrival process before selecting a scheduled service. This guide does not claim a fixed airport-to-hotel runtime. A timetable is one stage of the trip rather than a guarantee from flight touchdown to room. Keep a suitable alternative if a delay makes the planned connection unhelpful.

For a taxi, SAV identifies the lower-level area outside baggage claim. Use current signs and the airport's actual instructions. A different mode can use a different pickup process. Keep the provider and full hotel address clear instead of waiting at the point for another type of vehicle.

For an app-based or prearranged provider, use the selected-mode directions and real party needs. Give passenger and bag counts with any needed seating or adapted vehicle. A vehicle taking the destination does not by itself prove it suits the party. Agree the complete usable trip rather than only the broad Downtown endpoint.

The flight home needs its own check. Use a useful current airport-bound service or agreed pickup through the airport arrival the flight requires. Include the hotel-to-stop approach if using CAT. A convenient inbound trip does not prove an early departure has the same useful connection.

Room access remains separate from transport. An early city arrival does not grant early check-in, and a late flight needs a clear property arrival plan. Ask about actual luggage arrangements if needed. Keep those terms with the room booking rather than assuming a useful vehicle settles the last step.

Daily travel should use the actual visitor or event door. A historic-city label can cover several distinct approaches. Check the return after the real finishing time, not only the outward trip. If the party will split into different activities, compare both sets of journeys before choosing the shared base.

CAT's current local services and any ferry choices need their own real terms. A river view does not include a crossing or admission. Use the actual operator and departure point for the date. This guide does not turn general hotel location copy into a free all-day transport or island-visit benefit.

For a beach or island outing, name the actual destination and useful return. A Savannah city hotel is not a beach hotel because the outing is part of the trip. Check the real selected operator or provider. Keep that separate journey beside the daily city plans rather than letting one optional day decide an otherwise unsuitable room or base.

If needed access or bags change the final approach, include that practical constraint from the start. A route that works for one traveller may not work for another party after a flight. Ask about the real entrance and useful step-free path. If a different mode is needed for the last leg, include its actual terms and cost.

The point map does not draw a street-level approach, CAT line or ferry geometry. It shows relative property locations from published hotel locations. Those are not surveyed guest doors. Use current operator and property instructions for the actual journeys rather than reading a timed route from the gap between dots.

Compare complete airport and repeated daily travel with the full room total. A private living room may earn a distinct journey for one party, while another values the right visitor door more. Neither feature decides every stay. Keep the real guests and schedule together so the final booking meets the whole trip.

Planning sources: Visiting Savannah – Chatham Area Transit (CAT), Schedules – Chatham Area Transit (CAT). Checked October 2026.

Choose Savannah real beds and private space with daily plans

A first visit starts with repeated real destinations. Place each hotel entrance beside the visitor doors and times you will use most often. River Street Inn, Perry Lane and Brice are distinct bases even within the historic city. Compare them through the same party needs rather than a general claim that everything is nearby.

For a couple sharing one bed, start with that main bed and the space actually used. A private living room can matter if one guest works or stays awake later. A larger cap need not matter if no extra guests will join. Keep the actual bath and needed bedroom door with the real product rather than the suite's prestige.

For adults who do not share, give main beds priority. River Street Inn's two queens and Perry's named two-queen products offer different bases with a similar main-bed starting point. A king and sleeper is a distinct arrangement. Brice Juliette's cap six still needs the actual main beds before the group can compare it fairly.

For a family, bedtime is a useful test of the layout. Two queens in one room can work for guests on the same schedule. A separate bedroom may help when one person needs quiet time, provided the actual door and sleeper plan fit. Think through the living room once it becomes a sleeping space rather than only its daytime seating.

For a larger party, keep dining seats separate from overnight guests. Perry's Celebration dining for eight does not supply eight sleeping places. Brice's cap up to six does not show where every guest sleeps. Give the full real party and obtain one exact accepted room plan before comparing the rate.

For private sleeping groups, ask about actual closing bedrooms. A two-room king title at River Street Inn does not prove two main bedrooms. A large lounge at Perry or a terrace at Brice does not answer the door question either. Obtain the real layout instead of choosing the most generous reading of a name.

For access needs, keep bath and main beds together. Perry Accessible Superior tub differs from the actual roll-in or transfer-shower suite variant. Brice communication aids do not establish every mobility layout. Ask about the exact room and entrance route rather than treating a property-wide label as a complete answer.

For meals, be clear about what the room must do. A mini-fridge supports storage, while a bar supports a different use. Neither proves a stove or full kitchen. Ask about actual equipment before choosing a suite for regular cooking, and keep that reply with the exact product and guests.

For a longer stay, a proved sleeper and real private door can matter more than total floor area. A shared lounge used for sleep may be unavailable every evening. Compare the room as it will actually function at night. Then weigh that layout against the repeated daily route rather than selecting one benefit in isolation.

For a fixed appointment, test the least flexible journey first. An early arrival time or late return can outweigh a single optional riverfront outing. Choose a room and base that protect the actual schedule. Keep optional visits flexible rather than letting an attractive view make an essential trip depend on a doubtful connection.

For an event evening, use the real gate and finishing time. Check useful current service or an agreed provider for the return. The room should still work when all guests return and every sleeper is open. A central label does not remove that final journey or settle a quiet assignment.

For a party splitting into separate plans, test the other traveller's day too. One guest may stay near the river while another visits a different area. A shared hotel should support both usable journeys and returns. Compare the group rather than only the guest with the main ticket or busiest day.

For guests bringing a car, add the actual vehicle's hotel parking terms and destination parking needs. A car useful for one outing may stay parked on other days. It does not replace a complete plan for every return. Compare the real travel pattern rather than treating car availability as a universal solution.

For any offered room change, recheck main beds and bath first. A new view can come with a different sleeping surface or lost private door. A larger room can still fail an essential feature. Retain the actual accepted product so an upgrade is judged through the real party rather than its title alone.

If two bases both work, compare the least flexible repeated trip and the clearest room proof. A confirmed two-queen room can be more useful than a suite with an unresolved sleeper. A useful private bedroom can justify another journey when the party needs it. Choose the complete arrangement once those actual trade-offs are clear.

Before paying, keep the full hotel and product name with all agreed guests. Add main beds and any prepared sleeper with needed bedroom doors. Retain exact bath and equipment, current SAV arrival and useful daily returns. Compare full charges and cancellation terms only once the room and journeys support the real stay together.

For example, two adults wanting separate main beds can ask River Street Inn and Perry for exact two-queen quotes on the same dates. Retain the actual bath and any needed entrance route in each reply. Do not compare one confirmed room with an assumed Brice layout based only on the Juliette cap. Once that exact bed plan is known, it can enter the same comparison on its real terms.

Three adults can use a different question. If one will accept a sleeper, ask which exact suite supplies it and how it is prepared. Perry’s sofa wording needs that proof, while Brice’s general sleeper statement still needs the real room and size. The person using the extra surface should agree to the actual arrangement rather than being assigned it after the rate is chosen.

For a family needing a private room after bedtime, write that need beside the guest count. A high cap or dining table does not answer it. Ask whether the real closing door and bathroom route support the family once the sleeper is open. Compare the complete night-time use rather than a picture of the living space before setup.

Recheck the bed plan if the room category changes. A view upgrade can replace two queens with one king, and a larger suite may still need its sleeper confirmed. Keep the actual main beds and bathroom, plus room name with the airport and daily plans before accepting a substitute.

FAQ: choosing a base in Savannah

Where should a first-time visitor stay in Savannah?

Compare River Street Inn for riverfront plans, Perry Lane for East Perry Street or Brice for the East Bay/Emmet Park base. Choose through repeated real visitor doors and a usable room. Complete current SAV and late-return plans for the party.

Does every River Street Inn river-view room have a balcony?

The owner names specific French Balcony products separately from other river-view rooms. Keep the exact king or queen, or two-queen choice. A view is not proof of balcony or actual entrance level.

Does River Street Inn two-room suite have two main bedrooms?

The cited product names a king in a two-room suite. It does not prove a second main bedroom or sleeper here. Obtain the exact layout and accepted full party before choosing it for private sleeping groups.

Do Perry Lane suite sofas count as sleepers?

The current owner descriptions name sofas but do not prove sleeper use here. Agree the actual sleeping places with every guest. Dining for four or eight does not establish overnight cap.

Does Perry Lane full bar prove full kitchen?

No. A bar and dining space are distinct from cooking equipment. Ask about any needed appliances in the exact offered room. Keep those tools with the actual guest plan rather than a residential-style label.

Does Brice Juliette cap six prove the bed layout?

The owner lists up to six and private terrace, while actual main beds and sleeper size still need agreement. Obtain the precise room and full party plan. A larger cap does not supply two closed bedrooms by itself.

Do all Brice suites have soaking tubs?

The owner says soaking tub in selected suites. Keep the needed bath with the exact product. General accessible-room information does not prove every suite has the same mobility layout.

Should I assume the old 100X airport plan still applies?

The current CAT visitor page names Route 3 West Chatham for SAV. Use the current dated timetable and actual useful stop rather than an older airport-express announcement. Complete the final hotel leg for your own party and bags.

Verdict: where to stay in Savannah
